Garfield Trice, Jr. was born on October 5, 1938 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Garfield met Wilbur Scott, Jr.(Sonny) in 1961 while working at Quaker Oats in Indianapolis, Indiana and they quickly became friends. When Wilbur decided to move his family back to his hometown of Noblesville, Indiana, Garfield decided to go. Garfield spent most of his life there.

Garfield worked at Wicks Lumber, Highway Bar & Grill and Wendy’s. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his friends and family.

On September 9, 2014 Garfield met his Soulmate Lena Johnson. They were inseperable from that day to the very end.

Garfield departed this life peacefully on December 20.2016 with Lena by his side. He was preceeded in death by his parents, one sister, four brothers, uncle and several members of his beloved Scott family.

Garfield leaves to cherish in his memory fiance’ Lena Johnson; daughter Jackie Trice; brother Paul Trice; members of his beloved Scott family; friend Norman Grundy; the Hoggard family and a host of friends.

Private services were held. A Celebration of Life memorial will be held at a later date.
